When trying to install DPM 2016 with SQL 2016 make sure that you use the RTM version of SQL 2016 (build 13.0.1601.5). After installing DPM 2016, upgrade DPM to the latest System Center CU4. When you have done this you can upgrade SQL 2016 also to the latest version.

So last week I visited the IT/Dev Connections 2017 at the Hilton hotel in San Francisco (after spending a week of vacation in CaliforniaJ). It was not my first time at the IT/Dev connections so I know how good this one is. There are several tracks with different subjects within the Microsoft portfolio at IT/Dev Connections. I attended this year only sessions from the Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) including the pre-conference workshop. This topic includes SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, Windows 10, Conditional Access and many more. But after attending IT/Dev Connections this year it was clear to me that Microsoft is now fully focused on “Modern Management”. What this means I will explain in this blog post.

How to remove an Address Book Policy with Powershell for Office365/Exchange On-Line

Yesterday I was playing with address book policies in Exchange On-line. After a while I wanted to delete a Address Book Policy (ABP) which I created (in this case the ABP is called svg-abp). But when I tried to remove it with the Powershell command: “Remove-AddressBookPolicy -Identity svg-abp” I was getting the error stated that there where still users connected to the ABP.
